• Overall responsibility is to identify, qualify, manage, and close new opportunities for Microsoft Business Applications (ERP) services and solutions.
• Collaborating with business development and marketing teams to hunt and qualify new business through calls, networking, social media, and attending industry shows/events.
• Identifying and developing new business through networking, and courtesy- and follow-up calls.
• Understanding client’s business needs and aligning to appropriate Meridian services and solutions, while working in close collaboration with presales solution architects and service delivery teams.
• Preparing and delivering prospective client presentations, articulately and confidently.
• Developing and nurturing Microsoft field sales relationships.
• Developing effective sales plans using sales methodology.

• Demonstrated success in closing new customer (software and services preferred).
• Strong communication skills to listen, understand, and manage internal stakeholders, prospects, and 3rd party partners (e.g., Microsoft).
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services.
• Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer- and personal services.
